Everyone plays from their own phone. Start the race once they're all in.
Random Duck Race is a free online duck race game and random name picker. Every name you enter becomes a duck, every duck is dropped into the same 3D river, and the current, the rapids and the slipstream decide who crosses the finish line first.
No sign-up, no download — up to 1,000 ducks, 100+ duck skins and 16 languages, on any phone, tablet, computer or classroom projector.
Pick a student to answer, form random groups or decide who presents first — fairly, and with the whole class cheering.
Pick a lucky winner from your followers, members or community, live on stream or on the big screen.
Who speaks first at stand-up, who does the coffee run, who hosts next week — let the ducks decide.
Decide who goes first or takes the next challenge, with a photo finish and fireworks for the winner.
Open a room: players scan the QR code, pick a duck, chat and cheer — and follow the race live on their own screen.
Race your dinner options, your to-do list or your next holiday — the river always has an answer.
Then download or share the result, or race again.
The full guideYes — every duck has exactly the same chance. The lanes are drawn at random for every race, the river treats every duck the same way, and nothing ever steers a duck towards the finish.
Seeing the same name win twice in a row is randomness too, like a coin landing heads twice.
Run the fairness testYes. You never need an account to play. Your lists and settings stay in your own browser, and a room keeps only what it needs to run — then deletes everything when it ends.
Privacy policyFrom “Duck of the Day” to vocabulary races and exit tickets, teachers use the duck race to make lessons fair and fun.
